Where to Visit

Visitor Testimonials (820)

This is my second visit, and I’m always satisfied with the food, drinks, and service. Especially the pastas, which are perfectly aldente and paired with flavorful sauces, making the dishes even more delicious. Don’t forget to try the pizza (nduja is my fav), it’s so yummy! I also received a refreshing tropical rose mocktail to perfectly completed this meal. This will definitely be the restaurant I visit again

Food and ambience was beyond excellent! really love the Escargot & Bucatini Pasta! The service was also top notch! big thanks to Mas Ade Bagus & Mas Rival, thank you so much for the complimentary dessert! for sure will be coming back here

I ordered their chamomile tea, jasmine queen tea, and burnt cheesecake. The chamomile tea was light and calming, just right for relaxing. The jasmine tea had a smooth floral aroma that wasn’t overpowering but left a nice impression. As for the burnt cheesecake, it had a rich cheesy flavor with a slight hint of salt, creating a well-rounded taste. The texture was soft and creamy, making it really enjoyable. Definitely a satisfying treat overall. What made the visit even more memorable was the staff, they were not only friendly but also genuinely funny. We ended up chatting, taking selfies, and snapping a picture together. It felt more like visiting friends than just a coffee stop.

Burrata and watermelon appetizer is interesting but not to my liking, not really go together. The pesto pasta is really good, must try!!! The service was good, staffs are really helpful. Really love the vibes, and the dahlia on the table.

Something new on the east side I ordered Busiate Alla Tartufo. I chose this without any recommendations, simply pointing at it because the menu said “guanciale”. Not so many Italian restaurants in Jakarta offer this specific cut of pork. I asked them to cut the porchetta into pieces. The truffle sauce was perfect, not overpowering, and the pasta was cooked al dente. This was my first time having busiate pasta (long and helical). To me, the portion was big. It could be for 2 persons. Everything about this dish was perfect, it completely satisfied my taste buds. Definitely will come back for this! For the Burrata, putting it on top of the watermelon was an interesting idea. Unfortunately It just didn’t work for me. Mine last night was too compact. Usually it’s melting a bit on the dish. Maybe it’s just the way they serve it?

Had a lovely dinner at Bastian Grand Indonesia and honestly, it exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is beautiful and the interior feels luxurious and elegant without being too formal. Warm lighting, classy decor, and comfy seating really made it a great place to relax and enjoy the evening. We ordered a few dishes to share, and everything was on point. - Pizza 4 Cheese: super cheesy (in a good way!) with a perfect thin crust. The portion was generous, great for sharing. The flavor felt rich and authentically Italian. - Bastian Cheese Burger: Big portion and really satisfying! The patty was juicy and flavorful, and the brioche bun was soft and buttery. Loved the side fries too. - Busiate Alla Tartufo: This one’s a must-try if you love truffle. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the truffle sauce was fragrant, creamy, and really authentic. - Nastar Cake: Unique and nostalgic! A creative twist on the classic Indonesian snack. Sweet, a little tangy, and the texture was just right. For drinks, I had the Iced Lychee Tea, which was super refreshing, and a Cafe Latte that was smooth and balanced, not too strong, just how I really love it. The service was excellent too. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. Food came out fairly quick despite the place being quite busy. Overall, I had a great time here. Big portions, amazing flavors, lovely atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd come back to, maybe even become a regular!

First time to Bastian, and we love all the food, ambience and great service. The food amazingly delicious and we love the live music although we difficult chit chat because too loud. May be better live music starts from 9pm. The waiters helpful too.

Very pleased with our lunch in Bastian, everything just reminded us of our lunch in Italy last summer, Christy our server was very helpful and accomodating, will be back for sure
